Owned by the Madani family for over 45 years, Trail's Lounge is a unique supper club.True to its roots, the décor includes real birch trees and a historic Indian motif.
The experience begins with a cocktail - a classic Wisconsin brandy old fashioned, a modern cosmopolitan or just a good beer. A medley of good oldies music, country and pop fills the air. Your hosts, Manoucher and Pat, love to experiment in the kitchen and always have something new to taste while you are waiting to order. Don't let them fool you when they offer you road kill surprise!
It's soon time to move into the dining room to begin your meal. There is no need to walk to the salad bar, a variety of fresh vegetables and home made salad dressings are wheeled up to your table on the mobile salad cart. This is a unique twist on the supper club classic, the "lazy susan" and you can find it only at the Trail's.
The specialty of the house is Prime Rib, a choice beef roast, slow-cooked to perfection and served with hot soup, fresh baked bread and your choice of potatoes. Be sure to try the twice baked potatoes, baked then whipped up with cheese, chives and sour cream then baked once again. There are many other entrée choices including steak, fish and seafood items, senior specials and a children's menu. Be sure not to miss our famous Friday night fish fry!
Desserts include homemade grasshopper pie, chocolate torte, pecan pie and sundaes. We also serve brandy alexanders and grasshoppers whipped up to order. If you're really lucky, Manoucher might offer you a good old Wisconsin Blatz beer from his special stock.
